Here is my new spaceship. I took it for a flight last night, and this glider is amazing. I launched at ~7:15, well after all the gliders were down for the day. I released at 1850 feet agl and the glider started to climb. Who would have thought there would be a thermal that late at night taking me up an additional 600 feet?
The glider is a Talon 140, which is known as a "topless" design. You will notice that it does not have the post or cables on the outside of the glider. All of the stability systems are on the inside of the wing, making it a lot faster and more efficient.
